Happy New Year – 2018

Happy New Year – I am looking forward to another year of exciting projects, workshops and shows. The website has been updated with Winter and Spring course dates and Workshop dates will be added this week.

Harrogate Country Living Christmas Fair

Just back from a wonderful (and tiring!) four days at the Country Living Christmas Fair in Harrogate. Apart from meeting and chatting with visitors to my stand, each day I ran a workshop for 45 people making a gift bag. It was, as always, great fun and the show always has a lovely atmosphere.

Country Living Christmas Fairs

Once again I will be conducting workshops at the 2017 Country Living Christmas Fair in Harrogate (30th November – 3rd December). Also, for the first time, Country Living are running workshops at their Islington Christmas Fair and I am proud to be asked to conduct a daily workshop at this event as well (8th – 12th November).

Thank You Country Living !

Thank you to everyone who visited my stand at the fair or attended one of my daily Workshops. Thanks also to Dan and the team at Upper Street Events for their help and support. I had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed meeting lots of new people and some regular ‘show’ friends as well.

Quilts on a Line 2016

We were lucky again with the weather (just the occasional strong gust of wind ! ). I am proud to say we raised £520.85 for the Children with Cancer charity. Thank you to everyone who donated raffle prizes and cakes. A special thank you to my students who provided their quilts for the display.

Quilts on a Line 2015

Another wonderful sunny day for Quilts on a Line. Lots of students’ beautiful work on display and money raised for the Children with Cancer charity. Thank you to my students who provided their work to display and to everyone who came along and made the day such a success.

Happy Christmas 2014

Before the Christmas preparations get underway and the family descend, I would like to wish everyone a very Happy Christmas. It has been a great year for Hilary Jane’s with lots of quilts made, craft projects worked and bespoke workshops held. Planning for 2015 is already under way and I look forward to meeting new students and familiar faces when classes resume in January 2015.  Happy Christmas !!!
